WORK IN PARADISE  at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort on the tip of Captiva Island on Florida’s Gulf Coast just across the bridge from Fort Myers. Yes, we were significantly impacted by Hurricane Ian, but our beaches and sunsets are stunning - and we’re coming back with a new and refreshed resort!

Rate of Pay: Salaried position at $60,000 per year

Achieving Results 

- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team. 

- Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. 

- Communicates information and leads the team during each shift. 

- Delivers legendary customer service to all customers.

- Discovers and responds to customer needs. 

- Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. 

- Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed. 

- Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. 

- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. 

- Maintains regular and punctual attendance. 

Helping Others Succeed 

- Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. 

- Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale.

- Oversees performance management.

- Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

As we are rebuilding and restoring the resort, the associate may be asked to temporarily assist staff in other areas of the resort as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Starbucks experience strongly preferred 

- 3 years retail / customer service management experience

- ServSafe Food Manager Certification (can make arrangements to be certified through work if needed)

- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays 

- Hours Required: 40-50 hours a week; days and times may vary based on need
