WHERE WILL YOU WORK? In this position, you will be a valued member of the South Seas Island Resort’s Housekeeping Department. This role will be responsible for leading one of the of the most important teams within the organization, Housekeeping! We are looking for a detail-oriented leader that can lead and train by example to ensure the quality of our rooms and public areas are up to a standard of excellence that meets the expectations of guests and leadership.


· Responsible for assignment, inspection, and documentation of guest rooms. Ensure cleanliness standards are achieved in a timely and accurate manner.

· Assist with opening assignment of Rm. Attendant task sheets, staff keys and support staff work areas.

· Manage cleanliness of public areas, guest hallways, linen closets, storage areas.

· Verify all deficiencies noted from inspections are timely resolved by communicating with Housekeeping, Engineering and Owner Relation Teams.

· Complete work schedules, inventories, payroll, tracking of Guest Satisfaction surveys ….

· Monitor and evaluate the housekeeping team’s performance, conduct counseling and evaluations, and deliver recognition and reward.

· Provide professional development to team members through on the job training.

· Able to work weekends, PM shift if needed and Holiday’s.

· Learning and utilizing Property Management Systems.


· High school diploma/GED

· 2 to 4 years minimum experience in housekeeping management

· Mobility to work in a large resort setting, with traditional rooms, condos, homes, multiple pool decks, fitness center and meeting room space.

· Spanish and Creole a plus


· Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

· Must be able to walk, stand, stoop for prolonged periods of time

· Subject to exposure to weather conditions .
